REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM - Sofia will host the final seminar of the project "Ancient History of Sofia, heritage accessible to all." It will be held on 16-17 March 2017. The seminar will be followed by a press conference and opening of a exhibition.
"Ancient History of Sofia, heritage accessible to all" is a project presenting the heritage of our capital in the European context of cultural exchange and cultural diversity. It is aimed at protecting the cultural heritage of Sofia through restoration, conservation and socializing.
The project is funded by BG 08 "Cultural heritage and contemporary arts." Partner is Norwegian Research Institute of Cultural Heritage.
The sites included in the project are: the basilica "St. Sofia", Western Gate of Serdica and triangular tower of Serdika. Through the activities of conservation, restoration, exhibition and development not only do they present themselves to the public, but are protected and preserved for future generations.
The two-day final seminar will be held on March 16 (9:00 to 17:00 pm.) and March 17, 2017 (09:00 to 12:00 pm.) in Regional History Museum - Sofia (Hall – Infocentre)
