Temporary exposition

Regional History Museum - Sofia presents the 9th Annual Exhibition of the Society of Animalists, Florists and Scientific Illustrators (SAFSI). The exhibition features authors with many years of experience, artists whose names we increasingly encounter, both in the exhibition halls and on the pages of various publications, as well as some of the newest, young members of the society.

Georgi Pchelarov was born in 1955 in Ruse. His early childhood was spent in Razgrad, where he attended various art schools. In 1982, he graduated with a degree in zoology at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". It was then that he started painting. In 1987, he was engaged in illustrating Birds part I - a volume of the series "Fauna of Bulgaria".
