The Sofia History Museum will host the photo exhibition “Famagusta”. It is organized by the Embassy of Cyprus in Bulgaria with the iniative of Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Stavros Avgustidis and of the current Mayor of Famagusta Mr. Alexis Galanos. The official opening is on April 14, 2016.
The temporary photo exhibition “Famagusta” contains 33 photo panels of the town of Cyprus island and informative texts to each of them. The photographs are amateurish and were made in 1974 before the occupation of the city.
The exhibition shows the diversity of architectural and historical monuments, the landscapes and the natural landscape of the coastline.
The photo exhibition "Famagusta" will be officially open at Sofia History Museum on April 14, 2016 (Thursday) at 18:30. It can be seen in the period 15 to 24 April 2016 in the hall "Temporary exhibitions" on the second floor.
