The Sofia History Museum organizes a “Creative session " in connection with children's competition "Coat of arms of Sofia” . It will be held on September 1, 2016 from 11:00 to 18:00.
The contest “Coat of arms of Sofia” of Sofia History Museum is for children between 7 and 14 years. The deadline for submission of works is September 2, 2016. The main objective is for participants to depict / develop the coat of arms of Sofia in equipment and materials of their choice. The idea is to use non-traditional materials. They can be combined with techniques already familiar to children. Everything depends on the imagination. There are no restrictions on size and materials that participants used.
A day before the deadline of the contest, on September 1, 2016, the Museum organizes a special "Creative session." It is for all children who have not yet worked out their creation, but want to participate in the competition. They should bring the materials with which they wish to work. Before the start of the session an expert from Sofia History Museum will acquaint them with the various options of the capital coat of arms and his development over the years.
