The Sofia History Museum thematically organizes a children's workshop "Coin treasures". It is dedicated to the temporary exhibition "Archaeology of Sofia and Sofia region" and will be held on May 15, 2016 (Sunday) at 11:00 am.

The Sofia History Museum organize an Easter workshop for children. It will be held on three consecutive days - 23, 24 and 25 April 2016 in the new building of Sofia History Museum (Square "Banski" 1).

The Sofia History Museum will host the photo exhibition “Famagusta”. It is organized by the Embassy of Cyprus in Bulgaria with the iniative of Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Stavros Avgustidis and of the current Mayor of Famagusta Mr. Alexis Galanos. The official opening is on April 14, 2016.

The Sofia History Museum continues the cycle of lectures on the history of Bulgaria with the following theme - "Prince Alexander I, Russia and the Bulgarian Army (1879-1886)." The lecture will be presented by Prof. Dr. Veselin Yanchev on April 20, 2016 (Wednesday) at 18:00.
